Surfer was a popular American magazine that centered around surfing and surf culture. It was established in 1962 by John Severson, who was known for his skills as a surfer, writer, photographer, artist, and humorist. Unfortunately, the publication ceased operations in 2020. Originally starting as a quarterly magazine, it later transitioned to a bi-monthly and eventually became a monthly publication.
